Adopt a Dog from Bella's Bully Buddies!

To contact us Click HERE

Bella’s Bully Buddies appreciates the innocence of all animals and feel that each animal who is neglected, abused and abandoned, deserves an advocate. In the United States, as well as many other places around the world, pit bulls are exploited by people who abuse them, neglect them, breed them for profit and then abandon them. This has resulted in a shelter system bursting at the seams with these loyal, intelligent and loving animals who are desperate for a second chance. Unfortunately, due to media bias and negative misconceptions that are in direct conflict with the actual statistics, pit bull  have been mislabeled. This has created a culture in which these innocent and loving dogs are passed up for adoption by so many people who are not educated about these amazing animals and many of them never get that second chance.

Please give them a second chance by learning about and adopting them.

The Personal Consequences of Jason’s Kony 2012 Campaign

Jason During His "Meltdown" When you engage in African affairs be ready to face the consequences because not all we do meets the eye. That’s what Jason Russell, the co-founder of 'Invisible Children' and creator of the viral online awareness campaign 'Kony 2012, found out the hard way when he lost his mind, was wandering and running around naked, stopping cars, ranting and raving on street corners and even laying in the street.

He said, “It was an out of body experience and it really wasn’t me,” when he recently talked to Oprah Winfrey about it on her show. While watching the interview they had several "medical" explanations for it as Westerners do for just about everything, but I recall attending an African conference right after the occurrence and a lady there said that he was charmed by voodoo/juju practitioners in Africa who were on Kony’s side because people like Kony thoroughly arm themselves both physically and spiritually to retain their power and protect themselves. It's common knowledge that people like warlords, politicians, presidents, governors such as Kony even go as far as performing high level voodoo such as human ritual sacrifices to stay in power eternally, get a coveted position or win re-election. She even went on to share that even those who were not on Kony’s side but just didn’t want a Westerner meddling in African affairs also could have done it. Another thing is that the West has a history of engaging with Africa and Africans from a position of arrogance and condescension.

Because I'm in the West were illogical occurrences aren't quickly attributed to voodoo/juju like they are in many parts of Africa, I wasn't thinking along those lines till she mentioned it to the agreement of everyone present. As a Christian, I don’t like to dwell on the existence of evil, but the reality is, even as Christians we must realize that opposing powers exists as symbolized by the devil/Satan/Lucifer and that power be channeled and harnessed by evil doers such as witches, wizards and voodoo/juju practitioners, and if you choose to mess with them you must be spiritually armed and protected by God to not suffer retaliation.
The Real Jason This is what I don’t believe Jason, who had a very public and embarrassing “meltdown”, realized with his “I’m an untouchable American and everything meets the eye” mentality. Jason learned the hard way that not everything in life meets the eye nor is it black and white, there’s plenty of gray especially when dealing with Africans and African Affairs. Before he embarked on the Kony 2012 Campaign he should have had people of God praying and fasting for him in addition to fasting and praying himself because he was unknowingly delving into spiritual warfare. He went to war as a naïve and vulnerable soldier without armor and he suffered the consequences. That is why the Bible in all its wisdom states in Ephesians 6:10-18: The Armor of God: 10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
This is a lesson to everyone who, like Jason, chooses not to heed this warning and engage people involved in the underworld/voodoo world. Whether they like it or not they have to be ready for what fate they suffer just like Jason did. Watch his interview with Oprah here

Labeling Kids!

To contact us Click HERE

More than ever kids are being diagnosed with autism, ADD and ADHD. The numbers are staggering and schools don’t have the infrastructure and budgets to effectively cope with them.

5 million kids of ages 5-17 have ADD and ADHD and there’s been 78% more autism labeling in recent years and as with anything, there are advantages and disadvantages to a child being labelled.

The advantage is that for some parents labeling is a relief because they know the problem they are working with can get direction on what to do and have strategies to work with the child because it makes the child eligible for benefits and services. The disadvantage is the stigma the child suffers. Lower expectations are set and the child is cut so much slack. Some kids overly embrace it and don’t challenge their limitations.

However, it’s good for parents to get a second opinion about their child’s diagnosis because anxiety can be misdiagnosed and incorrectly labeled as ADD or ADHD. It’s also important to know that for 3-4 year old toddlers, their teacher may be the first to notice discrepancies in their development because they are in structured settings.
