Leaders must listen to the voice of wisdom within and without their own intellect in light of their surroundings and general citizenry, or be dead or dishonored in due season. Pastoral Leaders must listen to the voice of wisdom within and without their own intellect, consider the need of their congregation, and be led by the Spirit, or fall in due season in shame and dishonor. Proverbs 11:14 NLT states, “Without wise leadership, a nation falls; there is safety in having many advisers.”  The same applies to pastoral leadership and the local church.
